Here is the latest with the Brooklyn Fall Festival.

Sons of the American Revolution will have an encampment at the Putnam statue in front of the BHS museum.
The BHS museums will be open.
The Second Continental Light Dragoons, the first commissioned cavalry of the United States Army, will be in the field behind the Brooklyn Post Office (“BPO”).
The BPO will have an official cancellation of stamps with an Israel Putnam stamp.
At approximately 2 pm, there will be a “parade” from the encampment north to the UUS Meeting House for a celebration of Israel Putnam’s 300th birthday. There will be birthday cake and perhaps a group of Children from the American Revolution. The State Historian will be present. Route 169 will be closed for the parade.
The Meeting House will be open for tours. Israel Putnam rang the bell at the Meeting House, which he helped to build.
The Federated Church will be open and selling corn chowder and crisp. The Chapel will be open with an antique appraiser. There will also be tasting of Israel Putnam ale.
There will be a few food trucks.
A scarecrow display will be on the grounds of the bank. After School program will participate, and the scarecrows will move on to Spooky Nights.
There will be a coloring contest for kids and seniors displayed at the Post Office.
An apple pie contest will be held at 10 am at the INFO tent. Winners announced at 11:30. Prizes to be determined.
TLGV will have a booth.
