Downloadable audio books in MP3 format are now offered to Brooklyn residents.To use this service you need to have a barcoded Brooklyn Town Library card.You must come to the library and use the library computer to create an account with a username and password.Once you have established your account at the library, you may sign in from home with your user name and password and then download the eAudiobooks to your home computer.The eAudiobooks are on loan for a 3 week period and may be renewed once.The audio book file will automatically expire at the end of the loan period and must be manually deleted from the device.There are 1,700 audio books in our subscription, 500 title will be iPOD compatible starting March 2009.
